The Knights entered the game hoping for a victory against Akron Kenmore. They started very strong with two quick touchdowns by senior Jory Lombardi. Then, junior Sean Dempsey threw a thirteen yard touchdown pass two sophomore Joel Rich. Josiah Smith then added a 27 yard field goal which gave the Knights a 24-0 lead. After two solid Kenmore drives the Cardinals cut the lead to 24 -12. In the 3rd quarter Dempsey threw a 50 yard touchdown pass to Bobby Silagy. Following that senior Ian Crawford got an interception and returned it all the way for a touchdown. Top cap of the scoring for the Knights, Joel Rich added an18 yard touchdown run. The Knights played tough all game and deserved to get the 42-14 victory. They will be tested next week by Warren J.F.K.
