What a "Great Time" to be a Knight baseballer!

Led by first year head coach Joe Bishop and a stellar group of Seniors the Knights had a memorable 2011 season. The Seniors included Bobby Silagy, Andrew Nutial, Nick Stauffinger, Nick Palutsis, Ian Vernier, Mason Steel, Alex Yoder, Ryen Hoffman and Ian Crawford. The highlights included a huge win over Central Catholic and a deep tournament run. The future is bright for the Knights . Building program not just a season. There will be huge shoes to fill but with an influx of young talent and the prospects numbers growing, (there are 23 young men in the 8th grade "Little Knights" program) the ground work for the future is laid.

2011 Varsity Baseball Team

You are welcome to come see what we are doing with our facilities. In the first renovation of the field since it's inception, we have put drainage in, re-sodded the infield, rebuilt the mound and plate. We are going to enclose and heat the cages. This project was a major investment in the future of STA baseball and was done largely with generous donations of time and money. Our thanks goes out to Coach Dan Digiambattista for heading up the project and spending hundreds of hours at the facility. Also, a huge thanks to Joe Bishop, Dave Piero and Tom Glines for the time and energy that they put in. The sod was donated by Zellers and Sons and as is always the case JA Dempsey and Sons stepped up with time and equipment and material. Also a special thanks the KNAC for all of your support! When completed this will the premier facility in Stark County! Our Young Men Thank You All!
