Organizational Structure
·        Board Members - President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary, along with three or five additional general Board members. Decisions requiring a Board vote, will be approved with a simple majority.

·        Guiding principal in decision making - “Everyone can have a say but not everyone can have their way.”

·        Organization functions under the joint direction of the leadership team with advisory oversight from current Athletic Director and Business Manager.

·        All seven (7) or nine (9) Board positions and terms are limited to one year with voting or consensus elections established to determine future Board members. The inaugural Board members for the ‘08/’09 school year will be determined by the steering committee.

·        KNAC will be responsible for all concession and school apparel sales throughout the year. Both concessions and apparel will be lead by a chair person for a period of one year and will be recruited and selected by the Board.

·        KNAC will be responsible for all additional sources of athletic revenue including:

·    50/50 raffles at all athletic games and events.

·    Signing program for all athletic facilities – through the Corporate Sponsorship Program.

·    Special events i.e. Steak Fry, Pig Roast, Monte Carlo Night, Reverse Raffle, etc.

·        Plan and conduct monthly Board meetings during school year (August through May) with additional meetings as necessary. All Board meeting minutes will be posted on the KNAC page of the St. Thomas website as information for the entire Aquinas community. Non Board members may attend Board meetings but will have no voting rights.

·        An annual KNAC members meeting will be established if there is sufficient interest to conduct one.
